Elevator Pitch from the 22nd of November 2023

TL;DR: Yes, we are still in the game, and we had an elevator pitch at the BIH Accelerator.

Hello,

I am Julian Kleber.

Today I want to ask you a couple of questions.

As a student, I have always been told what is not possible. It was not possible to do this experiment, and it was not possible to do that project. And most certainly it was not possible not think in that way at all.

But I thought, what if everything was possible? And what if we could cure every disease?

A disease is the most unfair thing that could happen to someone. Curing every disease — that’s actually a great goal.

What do we need to cure every disease? And the answer to me was clear: I need to understand chemistry. If I could understand chemistry, I could maybe understand all diseases, and eventually, I could cure every disease.

So, I created a tool to understand chemistry. Can I now cure any disease? Of course, not. A tool is not a place to go to if you are sick. We need a place where people can go when they are sick. Patients don’t need a tool. Patients need care.

So, I finally ask you my question: How would you use my tool to change the way we think about health?
